The Nissan Titan leads the way in J.D. Power Initial Quality
June 28 2019,
The Nissan Titan was the only pickup truck in its segment to get into the top 10 J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS), confirming Nissan’s dedication to overall quality and reliability.
The study aims to determine which models are the most reliable out of the gate by analyzing the number of problems per 100 vehicles. With just 66 problems per hundred, the Titan was by far the most reliable truck in its segment and 7th overall among all vehicles currently sold in Canada.
"It is rewarding to see Nissan's continuous improvement in the J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study over the past several years, and it is especially good to see TITAN and Maxima win their IQS categories for 2019," said Heath Holtz, senior vice president, manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing, Nissan North America, Inc. "Initial quality is one important metric for our manufacturing team's performance, but the pursuit of excellence across the Nissan lineup never stops."
The Titan was joined by the Nissan Maxima, the Nissan Versa, the Nissan Murano and the Nissan Rogue, five other Nissan models that stood out in their respective segments in terms of initial quality and reliability.
